The Federal Housing Finance Agency’s house price index climbed 0.6% in September, matching estimates.
The index rose at an unrevised 0.7% MoM rate in August.
The FHFA added that home prices rose annually in 49 of 50 states as Delaware and Washington D.C. were the only places not to see increases.
The biggest annual gains were seen in Florida (+10.7%), Oregon (+10.4%), Washington (+10.4%), Colorado (+10.0%), and Utah (+9.5%).
